This is a remixed version of the original thing posted here on Thingiverse, which is a shift boot bracket for the BMW E46 3 Series. It has better strength as with the added fillets and the clips are thickened as well as enlarged for better fitment. It will fit both RHD and LHD BMW E46 and will provide tight fitment. If you are planning to install with thick Alcantara leather boot, then it will be wise to scale it down a bit to 96-97% scale but if you are just planning to use faux leather boot, then at 100% scale it will be just fine. This part is a small storage cubby for use in place of the broken center console ash tray for BMW E39. The bottom clip of the ash tray holder is commonly broken on E39 models and cannot be fixed without replacing with a working center console trim piece, which can be hard to find in good condition. The part includes a cutout for the illumination strip so the cubby is illuminated at night. Fitment is very tight to avoid the use of adhesives.
