This is a usb adapter designed to replace the cigarette lighter in a BMW F07 car. If you have a android head unit it will fit perfectly with the usb port provided. You'll have to remove the central console to have your cable passing through and remove the existing cigarette lighter. A simple rilsan belt will keep it in place. I printed it textured to avoid finger marks. It is very convenient to plug my controller and play games during lunchtime :-) or just plug any thumbstick Designed and used in an F07 with an aftermarket Android head unit. It is the sliding clip ("leash" or "dog") located in the D-pillar track that automatically raises and lowers the rear cargo blind (luggage cover) when the trunk is opened. This fits a BMW F11 and maybe also other BMW cars from around 2015. If the old cable brakes, this is a replacement of the ring at the cap and the cable. The original ring has to be removed from the fuel cap. Be careful not to brake anything else then the turning ring. Use side cutting pliers or a similar tool. The put the new ring onto the fuel cap. If the ring does not fit you can also adjust the width in the attached model and re-export. I used TPU 95 for the print. Nozzle diameter can be 0.25 - 0.4, all work. I printed with supports but this leaves a rough finish. This also leads to the fact, that the ring does not slide as good as the original one. But overall it works. Don't forget to like if you like. Creator reports the TPU replacement fits and works on an approximately 2015 F11, while noting rough support surfaces can make the ring slide less freely. The editable FreeCAD source is retained for measured adjustment. Do not force the ring or damage the fuel cap.
