Door Courtesy-Light Connector Housing

Connector housing for retrofitting door courtesy-light projectors to a BMW E90 that was not equipped with the factory lighting package or wiring. Two models are included to fit the courtesy-light unit; the creator used the larger version. For the electrical connection, the creator used the female side of an electronics pin header at the lamp and soldered positive and negative wires to the male side, insulating the joints with heat-shrink tubing. An editable SketchUp file is included. Use automotive-rated wiring and connectors, retain fuse protection, insulate every terminal, and verify unobstructed door and window operation.
