2011 Self-Adjusting Clutch Centering Tool

This is a centering tool designed for the precise installation of a SAC clutch disc between the flywheel and the pressure plate on a BMW E90 from the year 2011. Due to its adaptable design, the tool may also be compatible with models from earlier or later production years. To assist with model adjustments or integration, a STEP file of the tool has been provided. The tool was 3D printed using PLA+. Standard PLA should also be sufficient, as the component is not subjected to significant mechanical stress during use. After successfully mounting the preloaded SAC pressure plate, the centering tool must be removed before installing the transmission. This can be done by pulling it out using a screw or a pair of pliers. Use the tool only for the documented engine or transmission, keep it square and follow the BMW service procedure and torque values.
