Steering-Gear Input Dust Cover

Two-piece replacement dust cover for the steering-gear input shaft. The creator designed it specifically for the first-generation X5 steering rack and shows the printed cover installed around the shaft without removing the steering assembly. Print in a heat-resistant, tough material, secure the two halves as shown by the source, and verify full steering travel, shaft clearance and attachment security before driving. BMW does not catalog this input-shaft cover as a separately serviced child part, so no OEM number is assigned.
